一般工作学习信息

付款及聘用期限#

付款流程:

SDCCD pays its hourly workers monthly [generally the 10th of the month following a 月工作).

• Timesheets are submitted directly to the 金融援助 office each month with hours 由主管签署和验证的工作.

• Federal 工作研究 (FWS) is usually awarded for the full academic year (9 months).

• FWS jobs have regular job expectations, and students can be terminated if necessary.

支付率:

• FWS differs from other financial aid because students have a specific earning allocation.

1. If you are notified that you are eligible to apply for Federal 工作研究, you will first need to visit the 财政援助办事处 to receive an employment packet. 这 packet will include detailed directions for the hiring steps, a Live Scan Fingerprint scan, TB test, and employment forms which you will need to complete and return to 勤工俭学协调员.  参加该项目的学生 如符合条件，本学年将优先获聘.
2. Once you complete all of the hiring steps, you will meet with a 工作研究 Coordinator who will review your documents, complete I-9 verification and confirm your eligibility. The 工作研究 Coordinator will help match you with an available position that best 适合你的技能、经验和预期的学习课程.  社区服务选择 也可能有空缺.
3. Once a referral is made, you will meet with the area supervisor for an interview. If accepted, you will establish a work schedule including any training time needed.  请注意:  FWS的工作时间不应影响学生的上课时间 [please see note above 下的工作持续时间'.]
4. A start date will be coordinated once your employment packet is complete, submitted to HR and a payroll record is established; after you have completed all hiring steps, 被推荐给一份工作，面试并被接受.

To request a 工作研究 Position for your SD Mesa College on-site department:

1. 下载 部门工作学习申请表.
2. Complete the form for a 工作研究 position in your on-campus department or program, 参考列出的分类.
